Are Contributions Part Of My Pension?

Q. John D. of Texas wants to know: "Why do I need a Pension Evaluation if contributions identify a
dollar amount. Are contributions part of my pension?"
A. Brett, from the QDRO Department of Pension Evaluators & QDROS Of Troyan, Inc Associates Group
replies: "Contributions are simply used to fund your pension payout. They
are only returnable for segregation of service at some point prior to
the pensioner becoming vested."
